NOTE: While I am categorizing this series as “YA”, I am really not sure it fits here. Some of the subject matter is a little adult for YA. And I don’t really mean the suicidal tendencies of the protagonist. Instead, I mean the sex (although not explicit like we would find in the PNR category), drugs, gore, etc. Be warned. At least the first book was not an easy read for a large number of reasons.
